Fulfilling
a Need
The
mission of Presbyterian Homes & Services is to provide a broad
continuum of care to older adults. The services provided will be
of the highest quality and designed to promote independence, dignity,
and well-being. The emphasis will be on innovation and leadership
in providing compassionate and highly competent care with the inspiration
of God's love and word.
At
the Foundation, we raise private support to sustain the crucial
elements Presbyterian Homes needs to fulfill its mission. In addition
to a full continuum of outstanding housing and care services, Presbyterian
Homes offers comprehensive spiritual care programs, extensive activities
schedules, and lovely gardens and grounds to enable all of our residents
to live a life rich in blessings and joy.
Your
gift to Presbyterian Homes can support our mission in a number of
ways.
Endowment
Fund
The Endowment Fund is an important source of stability and strength,
especially as Presbyterian Homes adapts to meet the needs of the
rapidly growing older adult population. Gifts to the Endowment
Fund are held in a separate endowment account. The Fund is prudently
invested under the advisement of our Board of Directors' Investment Committee.
The annual distributions from these endowment earnings provide a permanent source of revenue for several programs.

Mission
Benevolence Fund Within
Presbyterian Homes, residents have not been denied service because
they outlived their money. The Presbyterian Homes Foundation raises
charitable support to provide the highest quality care and services
to residents who cannot pay for the total cost of their care.
The Mission Benevolence Fund assists residents throughout Presbyterian
Homes in paying for rent, therapy, and other care. We promote
independence, dignity, and well-being for all residents, regardless
of their ability to pay.

Unrestricted
Fund Gifts
for undesignated purposes, or The Unrestricted Fund, enable Presbyterian
Homes to respond quickly to the areas of greatest need throughout
our organization. Unrestricted gifts are used to meet our top
priorities for resident care and services.

Individual
Site Funds Presbyterian
Homes is more than a home; it is in fact 23 campuses that are
home to over 3,000 older adults. People understandably feel special
connections to the Presbyterian Home they know best. We encourage
people to think about supporting their home with gifts given to
a specific facility. Please contact our Foundation
staff if you have questions about how to designate your gift.

Capital
Initiatives Fund To
stay responsive to the needs of older adults, Presbyterian Homes
combines the planning and construction of new facilities with
the maintenance and enhancement of our existing buildings. We
strive to make all of our buildings comfortable, safe, and inviting.
One of our new facilities is Boutwells
Landing, a comprehensive community resource in the St. Croix
Valley with senior housing and service options. The 120-acre campus
includes townhomes, independent living apartments, and assisting
living apartments complemented by the Town Centre, a beautiful
multipurpose building designed to help prolong the independence
and well-being of older adults throughout the St. Croix Valley.

"The
people invested in Presbyterian Homes mean everything to our
mission. This ministry could not happen without the commitment
and participation of our volunteers, staff, donors, and family
members.
"If
I could get them all together, I would want to say thank you
and tell them that the difference they're making has eternal
value; it's not just an activity. Without the focus and dedication
of the people involved, our ministry wouldn't be worth being
a part of. But with their compassion and commitment, the impact
that we can make for older adult housing and services is almost
indescribable."
- Dan Lindh, CEO and President of Presbyterian Homes &
Services
